$3500 seems awfully high for such a rusty FB and he's even lowered that price.

What's your opinion? Deal or not?

He's cracked. I bought a 1970 Mach 1 in better shape than that for $1200

Maybe a young, foolish kid wanting an 'elenor' will oblige him

Eh, I wouldn't buy it because of what it'd cost to make it right. That said, if your goal isn't to restore it, that is a cheap way to get into a running V8 fastback.

That guy is out of his right mind. To expect that much for such a pile of rust, if it wasn't a Mustang I'd call it junk. If he had it for a price of say a reasonable 750-850 bucks, he'd be lucky to get that. Inless you or anybody else is willing to do A LOT of work, and spend countless dollars, forget it. And chances are, that if that portion of the car is in such bad condition, then the rest such as drivetrain, engine, etc... wasn't taken care of either. For me, it's a no-brainer, no deal.

Its sad to see a stang in that shape.(its my favorite body style) judging by all the scratches and rust it looks like it was locked in a garage with a wet lion or smtn. :notnice:

The thing is... based on my experience selling Cobras... digital cameras tend to make cars look a lot better than they really are, so what we have here is a steaming pile
