I need to replace the steering wheel on my 67, and I know that the 64-67 are all the same three-spoke design, but are all the years interchangeable? Like, can I put a 64 65 or 66 steering wheel on my car?

I don't think so, my friend has a 64 and installed a 66 deluxe in it. It took him a lot of work before the horns worked.
I think there is a big change between 64 and 65 and again between 65 and 66, and it is always the horn that gives to the problem. And I don't know much about 67. It could be worth a days work though !
You are definitely right about the way the steering wheel looks but it ends there. I would have a go, get lots of info (shop manuals and stuff) and have some fun working on it.

It will fit but it is a completely different wheel. The 67-68 wheels are padded and look nothing like a 64-66 wheel. You might be thinking of the Grant custom after market wheels, but the original wheels are completely different. They were also different between standard and Pony interior in 64-66.

I can give you pictures and examples if you want them but it's just as easy to pick up a restoration catalog like NPD and look in it.

Good Luck

Most electrical problems between the 64-1/2, early 65 and late 65 & 66's were due to the change from a generator to an alternator and the resulting differences in wiring.

As far as the wheels go, I think the 65/66 deluxe wheel shares some minor parts with the 67 wheel, but they aren't the same wheel "assembly".

64 wheel is unique due to the horn contacts. 65-66 wheels are identical. 67 wheel looks different, but will work. That's where I'll stop.
