See what a similar one has sold for on eBay. Use that as your ceiling if you are selling locally. Determine what it is worth to you, what your floor is and if you are willing to put up with the hassles of shipping then put it on eBay for the greatest return you will likely see.

If you've got something special, ebay is the best way to maximize your return. But I'd be careful using ebay as a guage for value, as some of these auctions are never paid for, and some are even run up by the seller hoping to rip someone off.
Agreed, NADA is ridiculous. But, if anyone wants to offer me $43k for my 66 vert, I could be made to change my mind.
