I realize I just posted about what tach I should get...but I am also looking for a new steering wheel, what do you suggest. I am about to install deluxe dash also, so what would look good with that?

I think you also have to consider your budget and the level at which your car is/will be restored to, in other words, a $300 tie looks lost with a $10 suit, no matter how nice the tie is. For the average Joe cruising around town Grant offers a pretty decent selection of wheels at a pretty decent price.

I think the wooden/chrome wheels like the LeCarra are classy, very similar to the original '67 Shelby wheels.

My preference is the factory woodgrain wheel. That wheel combined with the 67 deluxe interior is hard to beat in my opinion.

One thing to consider is the diameter of the wheel, particularly if you are not running a PS pump.

Here is my steering wheel, it is a Lecarra Mark 3 Elegante, I really like it. It goes great with my deluxe interior.

That is a nice looking wheel alright, but thats a standard 68 interior, the deluxe for 68 was woodgrain and in 67 the deluxe was brushed aluminum.

Actually it is a deluxe interior, the picture does not show the wood very well due to the lighting. Here is a better picture. I am now in the process of installing real Mahanoy laminate instead of the vinyl stuff.
