I have a front fender that needs some final sanding on the body filler then I'm starting on the filler over the door and quarter patches.

I should be sand blasting my clutch pedal assembly and welding on my new Mustang Steve quadrant/roller bearing/power brake stuff, but unfortunately I'll probably be roped into helping my friend with his ginormous turd of a 1985 Suburban.

The new project has arrived so I will spend some time sorting it. Also have to get started on pulling the motor from the '67 vert so I can begin tearing it up for the Backdraft. The weekend will also include swapping the Poppy '65 you see in the pic. It's going off to be stored in a barn (returning to the barn) and in its place will be another Backdraft.

Anyone have suggestions on storing hoods? I need to put the '67 hood away for safe keeping while the whole process begins.

I'll be chipping away at the inch of ice we received on Wednesday, and installing a pair of garage door openers for the in-laws.

Beyond that, no firm "car plans". Too cold in the garage right now to get enthused.

Ah well, alot of these guys will get their revenge in the summer when we have triple digit temps for consecutive double digit days.

Maybe Sunday.... Ought to be a SLOPPY mess though as all this ice melts.

I'll probably just polish on the RX-7 some more - Anybody want to buy a really nice, clean, one-owner RX-7??? CHEAP!

Let's see--I'll reassemble the gauges in the GT and install them back in. Adam has a 3 year old birthday party to attend. Need to clean the leaves out of the gutters--the leaves are finally starting to come down. I should probably get started getting my classes ready for the spring semester, too.

I think I'll spend some quality time with the GT, though. I may crawl underneath and see how I will route the plumbing for a temp oil pressure gauge I'm going to install. I'll try to figure out where to mount the gauge, too. Console, AC, Foglight switch and seatbelt light take up much of the space.

Ideas?

PS It was 81 here yesterday. You are right, though. It'll be hotter than the hinges of HECK in August. And humid, too.
