Scarebird brakes????

Has anyone tried the scarebird brake conversion for the front of a 65 mustang?

I did the kit on my 67 and personally hated it. Was very time consuming and really a pain in the ***. Used the master cylinder they recommended, ended up having the pushrod be too long. Then none of the brake line fittings were the same. Spent days trying to get the right ones and to get them to seal up and not leak. After all of that the brake pedal was really spongy, instead of being firm.

Ditto on that, Granada front discs and Lincoln Versi rear discs, worked flawlessly.

To me the biggest thing that I've run into is wether you have a 6cyl or v8 car and if you want 4 lug or 5 lug. It's a little cheaper and easier to find kits for v8 spindles. 5 lug gives you more wheel options but a lot people like original hub caps and some brake kits will not work with 14s. So I would ask the supplier plenty of questions.
