why isn't the transmission tunnel replaceable?

It is but the reproduction full floor is a new release....I haven't seen one first hand but if it is made offshore then I would opt to find a used one over the repro if the tunnel was needed.

My comment was based around not being able to get a tunnel....meaning that if you have a good roof then EVERYTHING else is available for the car either new Ford or reproduction.
