Remove C-clip 1964 1/2 Mustang
Im hoping somone help as in I am really stuck.
im working on my 64 1/2 Mustang Coupe and I am trying to get the C-clip off the brake pedal.Its not the the type that has a cotter pin.
i am converting from from a Single Master Cylinder to a Dual Master Cylinder.

Should be a hitch pin type. In 67 they changed to a flat u shape clip that slides in groove and covers outside of pin. It locks over and into groove when all the way in position. If this is the style, take a small screwdriver and pry outer part of clip out while pulling down on it to slide out of groove.

My car is a 1964 1/2 (born in August of ‘64) it has a C-clip not a hitch pin which I believe is on ‘67 Mustangs.
i tried banging my head against it and even that wouldn’t loosen it.
