radiators

are any of you guys useing alum. radiators if so what did you use we are looking for one and a alum fan shround too,, ofr his 65 coupe

griffin radiators from summit in all my cars .. from V6 to 429 .. run cool on the hottest of days .. come in all kinds of sizes ..

been looking at a northern number 5030 with a elect fan with shroud combo ,,, just don't know he bought a new stock 3 core and still runs hot hate to waste more money you know

I'm running my 289 on the stock radiator and its NEVER been hot. it work real good...

right now we have a new stock rad with stock shroud and a 14 " elect in front of rad and on a hot day 90 and above it will get 210 to 215 at a red light as soon as you start going it falls but never less its hot

210 or so is not so bad .. if it does`nt boil over when you turn the motor off you`re ok .. listen to the nascar guys sometimes ... they report their motors running 260 degrees sometimes .. water under pressure has a dif boiling point

yeah goes hand in hand witha good rad cap still would like get it lower ,, it really should never get that hot on new stuff ? motor is 2 yeard old everything else is new
