hey, i have a question about the NASA ram air hood for 71-73s...

could anyone who has a car with that hood take some measurements for me if you have the time? theres a pic attached of what i'd like to know.

i was thinking about making a custom ram air hood fro my II by graftin part of a NASA hood onto a spare II hood that i have. i love the dual scoop look and i plan to make it functional (lol, as soon as my 16 year old budget permits)

i'd really appreciate it if someone could do this for me. and dont worry, im in no hurry, what with all the parts i need to get my II up n running again, this is gonna be a bit farther down the line. but i think it'd be a cool custom touch (and heck, if ppl like em, i might start priducin em lol)

heres what i want my II's hood to be like:

and heres the meadurements i need:

Arin, your measurements might be closer if you get this style of hood
there are better deals in magazines though if you want one than this one, this one is really pricy

i was thinking about that BUT the only ones i see are fiberglass and i dont think fiberglass will bond (figurativelyt and literally) with a steel Mustang II hood...

and besides, the 71 is longer, i'd rather have more to work ith than less. and the 71s loook a bit different thatn the fox ones. i dunno, maybe its just me....

well, i wouldnt be using the whole hood in weither case. i wanna take a 71-73 hood, cut most of it off and weld that part onto the II's hood
