Pictures/info about 1965 shelby gt350R
Most of the "Shelby coupes" you see should actually be California Special or High Country Special clones, but they didn't make those two options in 1965 if a I am not mistaken. So, Shelby coupe clones from that period are made from aftermarket "ducktail" end caps and Le Mans stripes.
Yes I knew shelby didn't make coupes gt350r's I just wanted to color my car white with blue stripes and put on torque thrust 40's and put a roll cage in it. And I was going to do side exhaust and a front shelby R valance

They still look good and you don't have to worry about affecting the value of a fastback. I think it'll look great. I had a '66 coupe in 1980 and always wanted to do that!
