Override and Underride bars

I'm planning on creating a "Shelby-inspired" rear suspension for my 64 Fairlane and I was wondering if anyone had any good hi-res pics of the override and underride bars installed on their Mustang.

Yes, I realize making the components for the Fairlane and how/where they mount will be slightly different than the Mustangs, but if I can get a rough idea of what I need to do, that'd be great. Thanks.

Sorry if this sounds dumb....but what exactly do you mean by override and underride bars?...like traction bars?

From what I understand, the override and underride bars are similar to traction bars. I forget which of the two it is, but one of them are the Traction Masters that came on the Shelbys.

I could be wrong on this, but between the leaf springs and the two sets of bars, it creates a form of a 4 link rear suspension.

65 and early 66 Shelby's had over-ride traction bars then changed to under-ride because of cost. I use the under-ride becasue of the same issue.

It is probably going to be hard to find a picture of the over-rides but someone like Tony Branda may have some info. and instructions for you.
