Newbie owner and quick carb recommendation

How are you all doing? I just picked up a barn find '67 coupe 6 cylinder. Really excited about getting into it and getting the restoration going. I was curious to see if you guys had a recommendation for rebuilding the carb? It's been sitting for 8 years from what I've been told and I need it rebuilt. I comfortable with doing most other stuff but carbs just make me nervous. I know I'll end up with one spring or screw left over and bang my head on the table for hours trying to figure it out. Let me know if you guys have a guy that you trust. Look forward to getting to talk with everyone.

Take care,
Matt

That carb is not very complicated. Any competent shop that claims to rebuild carbs can handle it. You can get expensive replacement from the online vendors that make big claims but I don't have any experience with them. I converted mine to a Weber 2V. Had to find a shop to mill the can base and convert to throttle cable, but I think it was worth it. Have to change out distributor too. Classic Inlines is a good website.
