New Member and intro!

Howdy fellow Pony brothers and sisters! I just wanted to intorduce myself and post a few pics of the current project.

I've done just about everything suspension, engine, trans and driveability wise to this point. I've got the Interior sitting in my garage waiting and I'm saving money for the Body and Paint.

It's a daily driver so I'm not looking to be perfect, just something that's sound and turns heads.

289 - .060 over w/ matching Edlebrock Intake and 650 carb.
I went with electronic Ign. and installed headers w/ 40 series Flows behind the H pipes.

Built C-4 w/ PA Street/Strip valve body. The shift points are firm and I can manually shift to hold them longer if needed. The traditional green dot ( PR231 ) shift pattern is not very hot rod friendly.

Complete brakes and lines

Complete suspension minus spindles and gear box. Both were in good condition.

I've an aftermarket AC installed, mainly because the wife likes to cruise too.

THe color is Grabber Orange. I'll go back with the same color, however I'll most likely go with 2 black stripes to accent the rest of the car.

I have Pony interior with the delux foam for the seats.

So, there ya go. That's where all my extra money goes and thankfully the wife is just as much into it as I am

Thanks for all the replys!

I think I'll get started on the interior this week/weekend. I've waited long enough and fishing season is just about over with. I'm going to do the work myself w/ a little bit of coaching from a friend that's in the business. I have all the tools, just skeptical because this will be my first time.

Painting the interior will be the tricky part, I'm not going to gut the whole thing. Going to be alot of masking.

I'll try to get some before and after pics up.
