The blue and red stripes just aren't doing it for me. Smacks of the '72 Sprints... Not that there's anything wrong with that!

So what if you added gold (to the blue)?

Dangit! :bang:

Let me try to attach them again. I'm working from home this week and don't have a reliable email setup.

Whew!

That just goes to show that even the pro's mess it up sometimes. I had jpg tags on the end of raw Photoshop format documents.

Here's the 2nd one.

Here's a big surprise, but I like it just the way it is. The very subtle "clone" in the middle of the stripe was a brilliant addition. All the others are gaudy, trendy, and almost ricer in style.

I would've bet money that you'd say that.

Yea, but the odds on that bet wouldn't have made you any richer.

Kinda like going to Vegas and playing the change machine. B)

I agree the clone thing was subtle... but I'd never be proud calling myself a clone of anything. Maybe you can get more original on this new phase and stake out your own territory with the car. That might put the excitement back in it. I think a supercharger would also add to that or if you wanna get special than a turbo build.

I'm just gonna toy with a Backdraft and maybe a 350Z for my daily to get some excitement back

Hmmm....
I'm feeling some inspriation from these side stripes... Different, yet familiar... Modernized retro... Wording is EASILY changed...

I like those with the writing on the door instead of the fender to make it clear they are different. What would the writing say?

GT 350 ?

Still pondering that... The GT350 wouldn't be "out of place" there, since anyone who knows what one is would recognize that stripe and lettering being "different"...

At the same time, the "patriotic pony" (mentioned earlier) inset into those stripes might add some color...

Just a question clone do you not like the orginal GT 350 stripe? You trying to jazz it up a little? Which need to do from time to time.

Cloney,
What is wrong with you? Do you have tinkeritis? The car looks beautiful as is. Are you just looking for change?

With that said, the only version I liked is the Saleen-esqe stripes. I think they might look better if they started closer to the wheel well and if the Cobra was bigger. Keep in mind that I have no artistic talents whatsoever (aside from the 2MFF logo) and that I drive a primered car

I'd stick with blue and white. Unless you want to pinstripe the lemans in red, the three color sidestripe won't complement any longer.

Go w/ the GT350H Hertz gold stripes w/ white. Not too many of those around.

The Gold GT350H sidestripes might look a little odd with the Blue Lemans stripes that are already painted on the car.

Re-do the stripes as well. I know you mentioned that was not in your plans but, it was just an idea. I really like the "clone" under the GT350, very unique. The others just do not "look" right w/ the car. Then keep it the way it is, a very clean beautiful ride. Just my $.02

Rob,

I have seen your car for years and I personally like the updated stripe option. Break the mold and follow your dream!!
