Need quick help 68 Shelby horn problem

Going on a road trip after lunch today to help a friend track down a horn problem. Press the horn, no beep but the interior lights dim. This tells me the horn button is working but there is a short someplace after the connection is made by the press. Auto Zone and Napa both show a horn relay for this car but I have the schematic in front of me and I see no relay. I can follow the blue/yellow wire from the horns all the way to the steering column connector (on the schematic) with no relay. Supposedly the horn button has already been replaced with the same problem. I will start by disconnecting the horns and see if the lights still dim followed by testing each horn one at a time direct to + on the battery. Just curious if there is a common problem here to look at. Thanks,
Chip

Found it. Short in the tilt steering column and of course, no steering wheel puller in my tool bag.
