I am in a real pickle with Maier and trying to decide what I should do. If anyone has comments good or bad to help me decide I would appreciate it.

Here is my story in a nutshell.

I placed an order for a Shelby decklid and endcaps on June 21st, I was told it would take 4 weeks which is normal it seems. I was fully charged for my order including shipping on June 26th. We are now on week 14 with no firm ship date in sight and basically the same story everytime I contact them.

I do tend to believe their problem of being short staffed and over extended on orders but I also feel I have been more than patient with them. Of course it's not like I have alot of choices if I decide that I need to cancel and go elsewhere either and for all I know at least one of the 3 other vendors I have found gets the part thru them anyway.

Basically I would like to know form anyone if you personally have either been totally satisified with them in the past or if you have been totally screwed or if you have read on another forum anywhere anything good, bad or ugly.

I want to give them every possible chance to rectify but I also have to start thinking about my own situation too for a change.

Don't have any experience with them, but I tend to agree. Might be time to start being forceful with them. 14 weeks is a heck of a long time to wait for anything. That's money they're making interest on right now, without sending anything to you in return.

Wow, an amazing lack of replies I know I am not the only one buying from them, most of the better companies that offer fiber glass get their stuff from them and they sell direct via their website.

Well anyway, I managed to finally resolve it myself after several more converstaions yesterday. I finally got it shipped and verified via a tracking number. It's due to arrive on 10/4 so we'll see it how it looks when it arrives. I hope to heck it was well worth the wait!!!!
