Need advice for exhaust ideas

So I've modified the rear a little more, I've been debating on do exhaust out the back with 05 roush tips, or out the side right before the rear tires with dual slant cuts. Here's some pics of the ideas. Maybe somebody could do a photoshop of how'd it'd look

Me to I think it's different and looks great. I think I'll have to fab one up though, only similar one is veloster tip but it's a little smaller

I've always been more privy to side pipes. This is mainly because I'm a bit of an equal opportunity offender..

Ok I'm so happy and fortunate. Ok so I got a price on a new tip which is the center tip I'm going with and the dealer said 400, as no one is making a knock off yet. Talked to someone online and they already did an exhaust on theirs and they are shipping it for only 30 bux to my door

Was going through old photos and found a pic of my car when I first got it. Thats my grandpa, grouchy ford lover, he's the reason i love fords lol. Well the car definitely doesn't look like that anymore, it was time to modernize it, can't go back meow lol

Yea I got lucky. The veloster tip even though it's a little smaller than I'd like, will save me a lot of fab time and it looks like it belongs there, the shape matches the bottom corners of the balance how they roll up to the fender and everything, overall I'm very excited to get to mock up. I will be flipping my tank to avoid exhaust tubing to close to the tank. So I will be getting a new tank, or fabbing one is a choice too. Let me know If you have any ideas on what would be more efficient

I've looked at some and they still hang down past the trunk I believe. If you have a link to one that doesn't please post it that would be great

Well what I was thinking is getting something like a drag fuel cell(black plastic looking ones). Then getting a piece of steel or aluminum to cover where the old tank was, while using the bolts holes to hold it down that way you can replace it later if needed. Then use brackets and mount the fuel cell on top, finally putting a cutout in the plate to allow for fuel lines to go through.

Definitely a good idea I know exactly what you mean. definitely a less time consuming way I will really consider that. The only thing I'm worried about raising the tank up is the weight will be up higher. I wonder if it will want to sway more. Anyone running a drag fuel cell on there's? I want this thing to handle and be able to take quick corners. If it does mess with the suspension I will try and keep the tank low and maybe tunnel it out for the exhaust and put a crossover, alot more work but if it does mess with the suspension I am going to have to go through the long route

Its primed black right now, all body work is still not finished, i still need to braze reverse lights in and french rear bumper and delete bolts. as for the exhaust thank you, it was a royal PITA, if you do decide to do it, let me know im sure youll run into the same delays (on your 68?). But it definitely adds to the look, now to drop it 1.5" in the rear to give a squatty look
