looks like you have the non-fold down seat that is just unbolted. '67 up
fold downs were an option. converting it over is not too bad if you can find the parts. The folding seat part from a '66 will work btw.

Thanks! I also did some research, and found out the same thing. I knew something looked funny about it. I'd like to convert it, but finding a seat may be tough. I might just put in a fiberglass shelf with the tire mount. Since the 65-66 seat will work, does that mean a 65-66 shelf will work also? I can't seem to find any info on it.

I would think it would. Just get the '66 style vs. the '65 style. The early '65 style inc. the trap door that goes to the trunk and that wont work on your '68. But I would think the '66 style with the ribs in the panel would work.

I would go with the new boss 302 motor that ford just turned out...I saw it on one of those car shows (I think overhaulin but not sure).... I wish I had seen this before I restored my 68 vert. I would have dropped this in in a heartbeat.
