Read the article about your 66. Sounded like a pretty cool restro. Mine is costing me plenty. Mos of the expensive is out of the way though. At least I think!

Yeah, that's the fun part of the hobby... the money part.

It was a fun 2.5 years of weekends, and well worth it. I learned a lot, got plenty of complements, won a couple of trophies... Just couldn't bear to see her under a cover all the time, and also couldn't bear to think of 'what if she got hurt'... and I snapped and got her gone.

Worst thing I ever chose to do.

Second worse thing... I spent the money on three trips, because I'd not had vacations in *ever*, so off I went. Shoulda curtailed it a little.

But Awesome is making up for it in a lot of ways. I'll tell you this, If I win the lottery (or other windfall of money), you can bet I'm buyin' a garage and making another Muskrat, but with a '95 5.0 with a 6 speed setup this time.

/That, and a Victory Vision Tour Premium to ride.

Yeah, a 95 5.0 would be nice. Probably would get a lot better mileage. Here's one like what you are talking about for under 30k. Looks real nice!

That is one beautiful coupe. I love all the details you have in it. Reminds me of my father's 65 Fastback 2+2 that was rangoon red. Man I miss that car. Then again I'm sure my brother and I would have fought over who got it.

It might have cost a bit but it really is a beautiful car.

Yeah, Rangoon red is a nice color. That's the color my car came from the factory in and some day I'd like to have it painted that same color again. Going back to what it was.....
