You typically judge on cleanliness and condition. Condition looks good from the pics from what you can see. Can't see the engine compartment (and depending on class, the undercarraige). Cleanliness is something we can't tell from the pics. Depends on how well you clean the car at the show site. If you have bugs in the radiator, you'll won't get my vote if there are cleaner cars in your class.

In other words, it would depend....

Every show I have attended in the last three years has been about cleanliness. The cleanest car wins.

It's tough to tell you in advance because you didn't say what class you would be entered in. If it's a general show with all the mustangs lumped into a few mixed classes, you may be the nicest modified there, or you could be put into a class with other Chevy & Mopar "muscle cars". If it's a mustang or ford-powered show with separate classes based on year and modifications, you could have a lot of similar competition.

Either way, cleanliness is extremely important. Don't get discouraged if you don't win though, just have fun. I've been to car shows and lost to the same cars that I beat the next weekend. Unless you are being judged by MCA or AACA rules, the voiting depends heavily on how the crowd decides to vote that day.

I agree. My experience with a modified car even at MCA shows is they are looking for cleanliness and workmanship.
