Thanks Karman! She needs paint, a top, wheels/tires, and a LOT more TLC, but I'm so happy to be driving her around. Had fun getting an inspection sticker today. After the flock of gawkers it took them about 10 minutes to scrape off the last one...from 1982!

So she still needs paint, wheels/tires, and a new top along with a ton of TLC but lets just call this the end of 'Stage 1.'

Driver's side profile:

Replaced/rewired all the lights, you can see some bits of the Vintage Air set up from this view as well:

Here's the engine shot again with a few more. The new serpentine set up from Vintage Air as well, new PS pump, had to 'modify' the fan shroud a little to fit. You would never know I have an EZ EFI set up with a 347 under that little air filter The wiring is still a little messy but will be taking care of before paint. Need to make sure everything holds up well after rewiring the entire car before I start tucking and hiding everything.

New Flaming River rack and wheel:

And a few more body shots:

Thanks for the compliments guys! I have one more to show off, isn't the best but it was really something special to have these out side by side.

She ended up with some new wheels that came in today. They are 15's, I truly think this wheel in a 17" would have been perfect on this car.

Lots of sidewall always looks better on those older 'Stangs

Those are some sweet looking rims! Looking forward to seeing them mounted.

I'm sure I'll like them more with rubber Doug, I still think it needs some thin white walls I'll be dropping them off tomorrow to have them clear powdercoated - want this car to be easy maintenance for me.

Update: Windows and regulators have been found, got lucky on that one. Only a few hour drive! Got a few more kinks worked out and have been driving the car every day this week (just in time for the heat wave). The new wheels turned out pretty well - had a 10 day turn around from the powder coater with a few bubble up imperfections but for the money invested it is a clean set up. If I were doing it again it would be 16" rims with red line tires.

Thanks Jim, piled in the dog and the little lady for a cruise around town tonight. Decided to pull in for a shake and cut the car to order, only the battery was dead when I went to restart it. Going to need a bigger alternator with all of the new electronics.

I agree with Jim as the stance and look of those wheels is perfect IMO for that car.
