Monte carlo bar

I have a question I thinking about a Monte Carlo bar and does it improve handling or is it just for looks

Ir isn't a cure-all, but many folks who add them say it stiffens up the front end.

It does, in fact, improve handling, as does the 1-piece export brace.

I think the 1 piece shock tower to firewall brace does more for rigidity--aka export brace.

Ive always thought about getting one these.

A Monte Carlo bar and a 1pc export brace is a good way to stiffen up the frontend and improve handling. A bigger front sway bar and 1 in the back would help the handling too.

I'm sure it helps, but its more of a visual piece than functional. It probably looks cooler that it helps anything. They're pretty cheap, so I'd say go for it. I actually have one on my spring shopping list:


Windshield wipers
Monte Carlo Bar
Floor Mats
brake pedal pad
