MCA 30th Anniversary in Birmingham

Ok you guys and gals. We all really need to plan on attending the 30th Anniversary in Birmingham, Alabama September 1-4. Here are the reasons why:
1. We had approximately 26-29 II's at Mustang 40th Anniversary in Nashville. And we all had a blast!
2. Good time for a "reunion of the II's" since most of them are now 30 years old. And it is a long weekend -- Labor Day weekend.
3. The event is being held at Barber Motorsports and I'm told it won't be held on gravel like the Mustang 40th was.
4. Hot in Alabama -- that is what swimming pools are for in the evening, right?
5. Comradarie -- I want to meet the other owners of II's, don't you? Wouldn't you like to swap stories??
6. If we don't show up in force for this, people will just say -- "see, there just aren't enough of those 'horrible II's' around to show up anyway so why bother inviting them?" Prove them WRONG!!
You know a lot of people only hear the bad things about the II's, but when they see one in person, they fall in love with them. If we want to put an end to the put-downs, we have to assist others in their education of the II's and show them what the possibilities are!
So, c'mon everybody -- let's go to Birmingham in September!! I'm told that the Host hotel is going to be the Birmingham Marriott and if you call to make reservations, make sure you tell them that you are with the MCA 30th Anniversary Party because you get a great deal!

if i had the time, and gas money, and thought i could make it to alabama with out getting lost as hades, id come lol
