I have a 68 ford mustang and I'm put a manual trans in it and my friend is selling a 4speed and it is out of a 65 ford mustang and I want to will it fit in my car and I have to buy a shifter for it and I'm thinking about going with a Hearst shifter for it too will that work for my car any help will help and thank U guys

 

IMO the 4-speed is a cool upgrade but if you're going to replace a manual tranny I would go with a T-5 out of a newer Mustang. They're plentiful which makes them cheap and you'll have overdrive which will give you better mpg's.
