I certainly hope I haven't soured your taste for playing with your car. But, I am familiar with your pay scale . You will get there, just might take some time and LOTS of research, and looking for hot deals. And, a Windsor is a great platform for modifications! And, you are in a good forum with friendly, knowledgeable folks.
I did notice you have long tube headers, which is awesome! Do you know what intake, which heads, and cams? And it looks like you have a dual feed carb, do you know what CFM? Once you have that info you can start thinking about where you can increase power.

No you haven't, but you made me realize that I don't need to rush into it. The intake is stock I believe, right now I'm not sure what the previous owner did to the car but ill be meeting up with him today so he should be able to tell me more about it because I didn't buy the car from him my Sgt bought it cause he got the deal then I bought it from my Sgt.

Yeah, we tried our best to get it right! I am a sucker for Le Mans stripes though, as you can see!

Im running a highly modified 351w and Im getting about 550hp but I also have 11.5 to 1 compression and have to run 100 octane at 5.99 a gallon. I also had to install a tremec tko 500 to handle the power... all in all to beef it up expect to spend 6000-9000!

If that is doable then stroke it but as anither member stated... expect to install a better radiator (griffin 1 1/4 tube two row), electric fan, tremec trans, disc brakes, and better front end suspension and steering.

I did and I love it.
