Looking for info on a 65 coupe

I am looking to buy a 65 or 66 mustang to do a resto with my 2 sons. I have found quite a few as you can imagine and one in particular has my attention. It is a 65 with allegedly 25k original miles. It is a C code. Can someone tell me what a C code is? It is an autp and appears to be in decent shape. I am looking like Ill be paying around $1500. Looking for peoples thoughts on the price and info on the C code. TY

By the way I have a 2V carb that needs a rebuild if you need one.
