Now, if they only made then in 17x11 so I can put 350 wide MT tires on em...
Whatchu talkin' bout Willis? Those are just stock Magnum 500's. They may have only been available in 14" and 15" but if you go to the new Billet designed ones as I mentioned several posts earlier you can get them in the size you want. Viola!

So, would 15's or 17's look better on a 69 fastback?

It really is a matter of personal taste I think, that's like asking what color looks best on a car. Personally I hate red but anyone that wants to resell their car quick seems to paint it that color.

Drop on by 69stang.com and check out one members Boss 429 for yourself, he's got em and his is an original car. I am doing a brake conversion this fall on my 69' vert from stock drums to 13" Cobra disc's, so 17" rims are now manditory for me to fit them for clearance alone but when I saw his car I think I would have wanted them on looks alone. To me when going with a larger than stock rim size it really helps if you keep the vintage look when doing so, most people don't know off hand what is differentm, just that something is.

I actually really like those 17's, and since I'd also want larger breaks, it probably the way to go... now to decide which MT radials to go with...

I've got 15s on my '70. it's hibernating for now, but when I build it again it's getting 17s. I used to have Cragar Drag Stars that looked freakin awesome on that car. and if I ever find who took 'em
besides that I like the Torque Thrust II

No no no... Anything over 15" (sometimes 17" if they look original) looks BAD on old cars.
