Hey guys, newest member in town and we just recently bought a '65 A-code automatic coupé.
But we still have some work ahead, has to be fully repainted, some new engineparts, bumpers, springs,...
The rims you can see on the picture won't be there when de seller delivers it to us, he asked 1942$ (€1500) extra for them so didn't bought those.
However those rims are very sweet, so we will search for them on other places.

My first stang was a red 66 coupe with all the right options. The engine had a load of blowby and I could not afford fixing it due to the fact that I was in the military making peanuts. I sold it, and many years later I bought my 66 fastback from a thief in Florida. What I mean by thief is the fact that this vintage automobile dealer told me the car was restored and it was in perfect shape. When I received the car I started noticing all kind of problems to include the dreaded firewall/vent rusted out area. I installed one of the plastic cowl covers, but it would still drain my feet and carpet when it rained or washed the car. Years later I decided to have it restored and it is finally the way I thought it would be...at the cost of an arm and a leg of course. Now I have over 30k into it and I enjoy every minute of it. If you would like to know who this thief is, let me know...I'll gladly give you the information.
