I just joined and wanted to say hello to everyone. I have been a regular on another car forum until recently. I recognized one of your members from it, so I thought I'd check you guys out. I have been a Mustang and Ford fanatic all my life. I've had every generation of Mustang at one time or another, except the II and the S-197. The only one I have now has been in my family since it was new. It's a '70 fastback. I'll just post one pic for now since I don't really know your guidelines, but if you want to see or know more about it just let me know where to put it.

Howdy
Hi, I'm new to the forums and came from the same site as RBB. I grew up in a Ford family (especially Mustangs). I also have a 1970 sportsroof which is in the middle of getting a motor swap from a rolled 89 GT. The going is slow since my car is in my dads shop in Washington and I am in Nevada. It's originally a 351 Windsor car but it had a 351 Cleveland from a 72 full size model. I'm putting the Cleveland into my Cougar and the 302 into the Mustang because I'm planning on making sort of a Boss 302 clone (except with EFI). Here is a pic of it (before I took it apart)

Welcome Fluxx, nice to have you here! They probably don't know who RBB is, but they will soon.

66 mustang
I just got my mustang back a long story short sold my 67 13 years ago and was just able to replace it in the last month. There is work to be done but it has a 302 4 speed which I love and enjoy.

My initiation to Mustangs
Hi FOlks,
having wanted a Mustang for some time now, I finally managed to persuade the wife to go with it. We're now the proud(?) owners of "the V8 project" which is a '65 coupe with a 289 engine and auto box.
The car arrived a few weeks ago as a bare shell on a trailer with a van full of bits (engines, gearbox, hood, trunk, glass BUT NO WINDSCREEN, and about 10 boxes of bits that I can't even begin to understand!)
Anyway, here is a picture of how she stands at the moment - off to the paintshop later today for an all over Wimbledon white with blue SHelby stripes.
A retrim is to follow along with complete engine rebuild and (when I get my head round it) a transmission overhaul.
Probably be asking loads of questions in a few weeks about putting it back together!!!!!!!!!

New addition to family
Attachment 26532I have been a member of the forums since 2004, even before I bought my 2005 GT vert. But last week I added a new pony to the stable. 1965 hardtop with 289ci and 4 speed.
