I want to install these hood pins on my 05 mustang. Does any one have first hand knowledge of the installation? Are these brackets the proper underside attachments? Thanks in advance :worship:

 

There are "u" brackets that mount from the underneeth sid of the hood that clamp the lock onto the hood.



there is also a main bracket that mounts to the 72 radiator support.



Then a retention clip that bolts to the main brackets that retain the hood loks when the hood is closed. (as can be seen bolted to these brackets)



Look at NPD or www.mustangsunlimited.com for all the hardware at a lower price.

I'm not sure if you can modify them to fit an 05 (since i haven't seen one up close since the prototypes).
