1968 428 GT500 Engine

1968 428 GT500 Engine

I was given a engine 428 the only info i got on is that it was a 428 KR edtion. Would that be the king of the Road? How would i tell from marking on the block? How much is that engine worth? Any help would be most apprecated

i dont remeber i will have to go and look the last guy took the engine apart so i will have to go open the boxs and look is there any castting number that you know

i dont know numbers but there are members on line who do ,, there is too many little specific things unique about ford motors to go into detail

The KR engine is a cobra jet engine. The non KR used the 428 police intercepter engines.
