headlights

My headlights and tail lights do not work. I replaced the switch and the lights themselves. I finally just got one of those red light power testers. The switch has power but where it plugs into the light there is no power. Do I just need to replace the firewall to headlight wiring? Is it the same way to the tail lights?

Headlights and taillights only have 2 things in common- the switch and the fuse. When was the last time you saw them work? Did they quit working at the same time? Did you check the fuse and the grounds for the bulbs? Has anybody done any electrical or body work recently? Make sure you're high beam switch is good for the headlights, but the taillights don't go through the high beam switch.

They haven't worked since I've had the car at all so I have no clue when they stopped. And I can't seem to find my fuse box either.

Fuse box is behind the dash next to your left knee when you are in the drivers seat. Since the turn signals work, I don't know if it will be the fuse. You may need a wiring diagram to trace the wires. As I said on your first post, electrical gremlins are the hardest to find.

Maybe, I guess, but I'm used to it. I'm 6'4" and do it all the time! Lay on your back and look up!
