So I got my 66 from my aunt. It was my uncles since 1980. All the owners minus myself were Boeing engineers and it has all the paper work more or less a pedigree. In 95 my uncle passed from cancer. And it sat. I got it about a year and a half ago. Did a lot of work around the house for her and such. Before he passed he was in an accident so when I got it she had a black fender and a Bowed hood. I did all I could as I like to do it myself and the quote for the good to be repaired was $600 dollars. And buying a new hood was far down my list of repairs. So long story short I got a promotion to management at a car dealership and worked out a deal with our body shop that I will photograph there establishment in trade for the repair. So after a few weeks the owner text me to drop it off. Next day she is back and I am beside myself. I just finished the interior and the hood was bugging me pretty bad but as resto goes was broke from other parts of the car. Sorry rambling. Just well... Ecstatic.
