I have a L6 66 mustang and a friend told me he will run a custom dual exhaust for me. I like the GT Tips that run thru the rear lower fender and was wondering what size pipes will the tips fit on. I beleve my pipes now are 1.5 inch but not positive. I dont like the look of the pipes going underneath my rear lower valance. Would that be possible to do with my car?

Thanks

Jeff

Sure! Find an exhaust man and you'll be gold. I'd get your back valence in, painted and installed, plus get the tips, and take the whole thing to the exhaust guy so he can get it put in right--centered in the holes.

The trick is to get everything ready to go BEFORE the exhaust goes in.

If you don't know a good exhaust guy, ask the street-rod guys who they use. Those guys have all sorts of custom work. Chances are, if the guy can bend exhaust to fit a 32 Ford with a big block, they can work with your mustang.
