I'd like to pickup a Ford rear valance for my '67 in the off season. Are there any vendors that still have the Ford parts?

BTW this is my way of saying that I really like the turndowns/hidden exhaust. If I get the valance done well I may finish the exhaust with turndowns in front of it. Really cleans up the back of the car.

Might change the backup light setup in the process and get everything off below the bumper.

I agree. I've been pondering exhaust too and I've chosen the hidden turndowns over the side exit or Flowmaster long chrome tips.

The ones that resemble the pipes on a LX Fox? I've never seen any in person but like the look on the Fox. I always wondered how they'd look on the early cars with the quarter being designed the way it is.

I'm pretty sure, the rest of the system looked pure Flowmaster. Looked totally wrong for the car coming under the valence like that. No good.

Definitely NO if it comes under the valance. *blah* The pics I've seen make it look like it follows the bottom of the quarter like on the LX.

And now back to Jay's regularly scheduled post.

Where are the pics? Maybe it was a home made job, but I have not seen any pictures of the Flow kit installed.

Anyone know of some alternative backup lights? Would like to do something flush in the valence instead of the stock (fugly) lights....

What about flush mounting some super bright LEDs? I've seen the taillights done on streetrods where the lens is cleared over and is flush with the paint.

Something like this. http://www.customdynamics.com/led_flush_mount_kits.htm
