Well, I hate to say this. But, this closes another chapter in my life. Although I will have many more, this one was truly special. Today, I sold my Shelby. I put my whole heart and sole into it, enjoyed it, loved it. But it was time for me to move on to another project. Having four cars was way to many so I had to part with it. There are no Shelby owners in this world who will ever be happy to have sold one. I am going to start a project of a 67 Trans Am coupe I have been dreaming about for a while which I will post picture of here first. But I would just like to take a moment to reflect on all the work I have done to the Shelby I enjoyed so much.

There is simply nothing else like this car. I sounded incredible and in my opinion, looked awesome.

Its never easy to let a car go that you invested a lot of time and sweat into.

Hopefully the new owner will enjoy and appreciate her almost as much as you did!

Good luck with the new project! And (I know you will) please keep us posted on her progress!

Hmmm, I'll bet Carroll and any owner at Barrett Jackson would disagree, but I get your point. At least you had your time with her and you have something ahead to look forward to and you made this decison out of choice not necessity like hard times. You have much to be sad about but much to take solice in as well. It feels far worse to have your hard work taken away by a careless punk then it does to see her drive away with a check in your hand, trust me.

I got $65K. I know that may seem like a lot of money, but money can't replace memories. The guy who bought it was determined to get it. It truly was a one of a kind car. You may see Shelby's out there but they all kind of look the same. All restored, beautiful and perfect. This car was a great driver. You can take it anywhere, especially with the 5 speed.

I'd believe it. Just depending on the condition, #'s, history, it is very possible.
