Filter for Oval Cobra Aircleaner

I've seen the question posted on several other forums... Just a couple options to consider for anyone running one of the Cobra oval aircleaners. 
You CAN still buy the filter from Ford or most any autoparts store. They may take a day or 2 to get it from the warehouse, but it's a Motorcraft FA-48 (I'm sure that can be cross-referenced
). My local dealer was $14 & change...
K&N makes the filter in standard (1.75"?) height (Part #E-1960) as well as a 3" tall version (Part # E-1963). The K&N's run $65-$70.
In addition, Tony Branda carries a duplicate of the K&N that's made by S&B. It runs $49, and is the same hi-flow, reusable oiled cotton gauze as K&N.
