I'm looking for something a little louder than the super huge stock muffler on my truck. Has anyone heard/used either of these mufflers? The ultraflow is supposed to be a race muffler so it may be too much but I'm sticking to the stock 2 in 1 2 1/2" exhaust and changing to a better muffler.

Edelbrocks in tests have proven to be the loudest muffler of any group. Louder than any Flowmaster. Don't think you are after that are you?

No. Just something nice and deep that lets you know when it is floored. I knew there were some tests out there but didn't have any luck finding them. I'm hearing that Magnaflow may be the way to go on the truck.

Sounds like a Dynomax Super Turbo to me. Cheaper than the Ultra Flow as well, IIRC...

I have the UltraFlows on my Mach and I love the tone. They have a good rumble at idle and they get even better when it's floored. I'm running 2 1/4" duals with an H-pipe.
Sorry it took so long for my post
