Disc conversion

Anyone have ways of doing this conversion that's not so costly. I see conversion kits that are close to a grand but I'm pretty sure there's ways of doing the convert. Without paying up the a** for it. Any advice is welcomed

The cheap way to do it used to be to use donor parts from a Ford Granada, Mercury Monarch, Lincoln Versailles. The Lincoln even had a disc brake rear. Granadas are tough to come by these days though. The front end parts are almost the same as the Mustang. I think you need the spindle/steering knuckle, outer tie rod and of course the rotors, calipers etc.

What about your spindles? Are you using the one you already have on the stang and if so, are they v6 spindles or v8?
