A good site I came across when researching a Boss 302. Check it out - there are some good vintage racing photos:

yes, that is a good site for special mustang stuff. It is the president of the German Mustang Club's. Amazing what he finds. Lots of Bullitt, Shelby and Trans-Am stuff. Some things I read there that I didn't know at all or that amaze me !

I read on the Boss 302 forum that the number 2 car (Shelby Team car) shown wrecked in these photos has recently emerged from storage. Apparently the wreck was fatal, and the car was stored for legal reasons. I did not find any current photos, but it would be a great find, if true.

Thanks Geoffrey, good to see you here around. I am not the president, just the club editor....

The 68 #2 was found by Matt La Fond. Dave de Hamer is now finishing the restoration. An article on the car is soon appearing in Victory Lane Magazine.
There are some pics now on the boos 302 Forum of the car from Matt himself.

That was a heck of a wreck, both cars. Who was driving them? Anyone know what happened?
