ok, new battery, car is running, going great, need to redo my brakes tho.................but, i just got the new battery, and was thinking about this, is there supposed to be a strap or something to hold the battery in.......??????? cuz its just sitting there, if i took a really hard right turen, it looks like itll fall off!!! yeah...there should be a strap...at least I have one...mine is nylon..

cool, ill make one out of scrap fabric,
and can anyone give me any important tips for doing my brakes, im rebuilding and diagnosing them, new fluid too

why dont u pick up a battery bracket...u can buy em for like $15

66 Mustangs use a clamp at the lower side of the battery tray to hold the battery - not a strap. You may need to get the clamp and bolt/nut, or if the tray is old/rusted, a new tray too.
