I got the car back from the radiator shop and I don't have a blown head gasket. They told me the that my cooling system is operation fine other than they feel that the electric fan is not pulling enough air. I decided to go back to the mechanical flex fan and an electric pusher fan. I hope this will keep it cool. I'll let you guys know if this fixes the problem.

UM, a stock puller and a pusher do not mix. I would think twice about that. Despite what common sense might make you think, it cuts your flow in half, not doubles it.

He has a point. The pusher will block flow through the radiator, if it's on the front, which I assume it is.

I've used a small pusher in front, with an engine driven fan behind for 3 years now.

The only time you really run the pusher is sitting in traffic/parades, when there isn't enough airflow. It does not block airflow at speed.

I know it sounds dum but is the fan blowing correctly? I hooked mine up backwards to start on my truck :bang: Also have you tried using "water weter" it droped my temp by 11 degrees. Good luck and I'm sure that this is not your problem.

You might have the wrong water pump. One for a serpentine drive system spins opposite of one for a v-belt. I'm not 100% sure about that but it can be easily checked by going to the parts store and having them pull one of each out of the box and looking at the impellers.
