Does anyone know if the plastic base for the center console is the same between a 67 and 68? I know the 68 has the padding on top, but I need to know if the plastic base is the same. Does anyone have a pic of the 67 that they can share?

 

Here's a picture of mine. I replaced the radio with an aftermarket head unit and put on an aluminum overlay, but everything else is the same.

 

Just looking at reproduction parts that are available, it doesn't look like they are the same from the factory. '67 is available, '68 is not.

 

I appreciate the pic. Would you happen to have one of just the plastic base without the top plate or overlay?
