C6 vs FMX

Which transmission is considered better, a C6 or a FMX for 1970.

the C6 is always considered superior to the FMX regardless of year of application. The FMX is not really a bad tranny, the C6 is just that much better, plus it weighs almost 100lbs less.

agreed, plus there is plenty of aftermarket support for the C6. for the FMX, about zilch.

C6 is a much better choice. Cores and parts are available.
