Bumper Question

OK, I am looking to replace the front/rear bumpers, think I found one close to me that looks to be in good shape on E-bay, but a little confused on the statement:

"Good for core"

"Good for Core" would mean that it probably needs to be re-plated to look good.
I'd contact the seller and ask if you can go look at it if it's close enough to you.

Keep in mind, that replating costs often run MORE $$$ than the cheap repop bumpers that are available. :nono:

That's is what I figured

Unfortunately this isn't for my mustang, but a 68 Javelin (don't hold that against me, I love them both the same), and there isn't very many repop parts available.

Does anyone have a rough estimate on re-chroming on a bumper.

I know I can get a new one for about 250.
