Thumbs up

Well my right tail light has been out for a bit so I finally changed the bulb... yet the light STILL won't come on when i put on my breaks. The light does come on however, when I turn on my lights or signal. Anyone have any suggestions as to where the problem might be?

its been out for a while and I haven't been pullled over yet... but I dont know how long my luck will last B)

Sounds like the turn signal switch...

Current for the taillights DOES run thru the TS switch. If the contacts get damaged or misaligned, you'll have a taillight that isn't working all the time. You MAY be able to rebend the contacts and get it working or MAY have to replace the switch.

Have someone stand behind the car with the tailights on while you "jiggle" the switch. See if you can find a "sweet spot" that still makes contact - usually you can, indicating the switch needs work...
