... and I still say there's something "wrong" with the stripe dimensions...
Yep, that's it - they did constant width stripes instead of the Shelby tapered dimensions...
And I don't care for the bright yellow radiator support showing thru behind the grill. Not to mention "something" is off center with the Pony or the stripes. I thought it might be the angle, but look at the lower mounting point of the pony - the stripes don't match it... :notnice:

Looks like these stripes are off too...

Jay, did you noticed they used the Lokar "super shifter" in the yellow car?

I think it's not only in the alignment/taper but also in the proportions (Too wide, or too Narrow) Neither the Boyd car, or the 35SR look right, but pictures can be deceiving.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that MY stripes were done using the Shelby spec because I painted my car myself. But the rear still looks a little off (Probably because fo the flaired deck lid)

Fresh piant pics!

I think the shots of your car and the SR may not be an accurate comparison, Cloney. If you'll look, the entire roof portion or their car looks narrower than yours. I think what's happening here is an optical illusion... The SR was probably taken at close range with a slightly wide angle lens (making its stripes appear to aim inward), and yours appears to have been taken from some distance with a telephoto or zoom. Could be wrong - but I betcha that's what's going on...

Yeah, just look at the tires there.... the perspective on your seems to be fairly mild... The tires look almost in profile... looking at the SR there, it looks like the tires are aimed inward... which is obviously not the case, but that's how the pic looks..

Also, I think the plexiglass windows on the SR make the top look smaller than it is... they reflect the sky close by there, making it look like that area isn't car, when it is...
