Antenna Location on 65 Mustang

Hello all,

Finally my garage houses a 65 Mustang. While it is mostly original, I find it odd that the antenna is mounted on the right quarter panel (rear). The previous owner claims that the antenna was at the rear when he got it in 66 and that the radio is stock. My question to you honorable ladies and gentlemen is if Mustangs built for Canada had a different lodation for the antenna (it is a 81 code - Ford of Canada). Your input is much appreciated. Thanks

Never seen factory one

I would guess that it was put there after the factory and before he got it.
