AMT 1967 Mustang Fastback Model
Howdy, yall
I'm doing a model of a 67 fastback (if i can't have a real one at least i can experience it vicariously!) and I've decided on the exterior color. John Loper's mustang seems to portray it the best.
Now, I'm definitely going to do aluminum door inserts and dash, as well as floor center console. But as for the rest of the interior, I don't know what color to paint it. I was thinking a pony interior (two tones) but I'm afraid that it might detract from the aluminum panels (those things are expensive in the real world - and this mustang is going to be a model of one i might own in the future).
So my question to yall is this: What color(s) should I paint the interior (doesn't necessarily have to be factory - just look good with dark green exterior and aluminum panels) and does anyone have any pictures of interiors they like on 67-68 stangs they could post.
thanks!

Here is what I did...

I hadnt done a model in years, but decided to make a quick mockup of the car I am restoring. They dont make a 67 coupe model so I made one from a 67 fastback and an AMT 66 Coupe Roof. Turned out better than I planned.

Now I have to find time to finish it!
